SCRIBE REACTS TO INNAGURATION, AMERICA STOPS ALL ACTIVITIES & LISTENS:

A part of me didn't think this day would come, and not just because Barrack Oabama just might be a nigrah. I also had started to believe that the theocratic regime oF George Dubya Bush was irreversible; perhaps it is. Perhaps the new president won't be able to change what hath been wrought. But today is not a day for negative possibilities and shitty outcomes. Today is the day when we graciously and as one raise our voices heavenward and proclaim to all listening neocons: "YOUR DAY IS DONE! LET THE DOOR NOT HIT YE ON THY WAY OUT!"

Everybody, sing with me!!!

Damn, unrealistic expectations, table for two. Did you really think Bush would be tried for war crimes because of a regime change?

And what's with this "I'm done with blogging" horseshit? Git yo man-ass back here! We need you more than ever!

LOL. You wouldn't believe how many blogs I've read yesterday and today that essentially said the same thing. Everyone's celebrating George being GONE!

the local tv over here was mostly streaming u.s. broadcasts. For a while i watched the one that carried cbs. The absolutely best part was as 43 helicoopter flew away Katie Couric made some comment like "this is Obama's day, but some people are cheering for Bush too"

One of the other commentators with her paused for a few seconds and then deadpanned "some of them may be cheering that he's leaving"
